Visiting Professors

Each year, IGR-IAE welcomes around 20 visiting professors. In 2018-2019 we welcomed:


William CHEUNG

William CHEUNG is an Associate Professor at Waseda University in Tokyo, the Netherlands.

His research interests include market liquidity, real estate finance, corporate finance, and household finance. His work has appeared in leading international journals including Journal of Corporate Finance, Journal of Futures Markets, Finance Research Letters, among others.


Evelien CROONEN  

Evelien CROONEN is an Assistant Professor at the Faculty of Economics and Business, University of Groningen, the Netherlands.
Her research projects deal with franchising. She teaches chain management in the Master of Marketing FRSC (Franchising, Retail and Service Chains) with Pr Rozenn PERRIGOT.


Philippe DEBROUX  

Philippe DEBROUX is a Professor at the Soka University, Japan.
He gives lectures in "Management of Japanese companies" and "Human Resources in Japan" in the Master Administration des Entreprises.


Martina GONZALEZ-GALLARZA 

Dr Martina GONZALEZ-GALLARZA is Professor at the University of Valencia, Spain.
She gives lectures in Marketing in our MSc in Business Administration (MAE IMB).


Olesya GRISHCHENKO  

Dr Olesya GRISHCHENKO is from New York University, USA.
She participates to Research in Finance with Pr Franck MORAUX.


Frances GUNN

Dr. Frances Gunn is an Associate Professor with the Ted Rogers School of Retail Management at Ryerson University in Toronto, Canada. 

Dr. Gunn’s research interests include the professionalization of retail management careers, retail management education, and the development of innovation in retail services. 
She will lead workshops during the International Week in January 2019.


XIAO HUANG

Dr. Xiao Huang is an Associate Professor and the Concordia University Research Chair in Supply Chain Management at the John Molson School of Business, Concordia University.

Her research focuses on strategic interactions among supply chain members as well as data-driven and behavioural-driven decision makings in supply chain.
She will give a lecture to the Master of Finance - Advanced Studies and Research in Finance.


Amy JONES 

Dr Amy H. JONES is an Associate Professor from the University of West Alabama, USA.She will lead workshops during the International Week in January 2019.

« The University of West Alabama and IGR-IAE Rennes have a wonderful partnership that benefits students and faculty at both institutions with academic exchange opportunities. In 2019, I had the pleasure of joining other fascinating professors during the International week on the IGR-IAE Rennes campus. This was my second time in Rennes as a visiting professor, and I thoroughly enjoyed teaching the Marketing students throughout the week. We covered topics like Stereotypes in Sports Media and Advertising, Visual Elements of Media, and Culture and Offensive ».


Nina KREY

Dr. Nina Krey is an Assistant Professor at Rowan University, in Glassboro, New Jersey (USA).

Dr. Krey’s primary research interests include sensation and perception in value-added consumption experiences, contemporary issues related to new media (e.g. wearable technologies), and multi-method research approaches. 

She will do a presentation during the "Eat and Think" workshop on Tuesday December 18, at 3:30 PM on the following topic: "A Meta-Analytical Review of PAD Within Retail Environments"


Masato KARASHIMA

Dr. Masato KARASHIMA is Associate Professor of Japanese Studies at Kobe University, Japan.
His current research examines the role of American private foundations in postwar Japan-Southeast Asia relations.

He will teach the students of the Franco-Japanese Management Center.


Naoki KURIYAMA

Pr. Naoki KURIYAMA is a Professor at the Faculty of Business Administration of SOka University in Tokyo, Japan.

His current research focuses on Labour-Management Relations and Supply Chain Challenges in Asia

He will teach the students of the Franco-Japanese Management Center.

« It was my great pleasure to have had the opportunity this year to teach Japanese Human Resource Management to the excellent graduate students at IGR-IAE. It was an intensive one-week course with capable students of diversified nationalities. I enjoyed lively discussions about the successful model of Japanese management, along with the high commitment and strength of organisational citizenship behaviour in the workplace.
The city of Rennes is known for the most comfortable living conditions in France. I found a beautiful environment surrounded by greenery, quiet parks, and historical monuments. Dr Souleymane LAMINOU is a Postdoctoral Associate in Boston University, Questom School of Business, USA.
He is invited by Pr Franck MORAUX for research and teachings in Finance


Michel MAGNAN  

Michel MAGNAN is Professor and Lawrence Bloomberg Chair in Accountancy, Concordia University, Canada.
He gives lectures in our MSc in Finance, advanced studies and reseach.

Viet Dung NGUYEN

Professor NGUYEN is Head of the Department of Business Finance, Associate Dean of Research
in the Faculty of Banking and Finance, Foreign Trade University (FTU), Hanoi, Vietnam.


Yvan PETIT 

Yvan PETIT is a Professor  in Project Management at ESG (Ecole Supérieure de Gestion) in UQAM (Univesrité du Québec à Montréal),  Canada.
He comes in December to give a 3 days conference  in Project Management in the 3rd year Bachelor.


Eugenia RUIZ-MOLINA  

Dr Eugenia RUIZ-MOLINA is Assistant Professor in the Department of Marketing and Market Research, University of Valencia, Spain.
She has been teaching in several Marketing courses in English and participated in several e-learning and teaching-learning innovation projects.

Sylvie SAINT-ONGE is a Professor in Human Resources Management at HEC Montreal, Canada.
She is invited by Pr Gwénaëlle POILPOT-ROCABOY and she gives lectures in the MSc in Human Resources Management.


Odile STREED

Odile J. STREED is an Associate Professor of Marketing at Concordia College, Moorhead, Minnesota, USA.
She is invited by Hoa VO and Karine PICOT-COUPEY  to give lectures in International Business in the 3rd year Bachelor.


Ana TORRES DA SILVA ESTRELLA

Dr. Ana Claudia Torres Da Silva Estrella, professor of Business law and Business Ethics. She coordinates the Center for studies in Business Ethics (NEEPE) and coordinates as well the MBA program in Strategic Business (PGGN) at University Federal Fluminense- UFF in Rio de Janeiro.

She will teach the students of the Master of Business Administration in International Management.


Beatrice Van Der HEIJDEN  

Beatrice Van Der HEIJDEN is Head of the Department Strategic HRM, and Director of Research of the Responsible Organization Research Program. She occupies a Chair in Strategic HRM at the Open Universiteit in the Netherlands, and at the University of Nijmegen, Radboud, the Netherlands.


Anna WATSON  

Anna WATSON is a Reader at the University of Hertfordshire, United Kingdom.
She teaches in chain development in the Master of Marketing FRSC (Franchising, Retail & Service Chains) with Pr Rozenn PERRIGOT.


Joachim WOLF 

Joachim WOLF is a Professor at the Christian-Albrechts-Universität of Kiel, Germany.
He gives lectures in Business in the Master of Business Administration in International Management.
