Liwei

Promotion 2018-2019

Above all considerations, the openness and inclusiveness of France made me choose this country. The nice living environment and free French lessons included in the program led me to the final decision.

What was your background before coming to study at IGR-IAE Rennes ?

I had some working experience in Fortune 500, so I knew what I looked for during the application.

What was your motivation for this study project in France ?

To pursue a study, people always have a lot of targets, such as top school with good reputation, strong academic stream, creative teaching method, opportunity for combine theory and practice, diversity classmates and teachers, low cost, open campus etc. And I wanted all of them, so I applied and received several offers from different projects. But above all those considerations, the openness and inclusiveness of France made me choose this country, the nice living environment and free French lessons led me to the final decision.

What are the highlights of the MBAIM?

MBAIM has intense lessons, group work and presentations, which inspired all my potentials to think and react in the shortest time. It’s not an easy job, but you will get what you want. Almost all the talent teachers have strong professional experience and they come from different countries, I always could take away new ideas from the classes.

I encourage Chinese students to speak out in every class, students are encouraged to express themselves, there is no problem if we have different opinions.

What do you miss most after the end of your studies at IGR?

I missed the moment when different thoughts meet each other with sparkles in the class

How has your education at IGR helped you in your career?

It helped a lot in my interview, not only in the knowledge perspective, also in understanding local people, behavior, value which helped me to get used to new environment and new people in my work.

How was your career path after you left IGR?

I got a CDI contract smoothly after my internship (I work as sourcing project manager at Technicolor, in Rennes) and I earned my tuition fee back in a very short time.
