Master of Finance - Advanced Studies and Research in Finance

The in-depth theoretical understanding and the strong research and investigative skills I acquired during my Master degree have been essential for my PhD journey

Duong Van Nhat (Vietnam) Master of Finance ASRF 2018-2019, Research Track

Interpersonal exchanges, understanding and appreciating different cultural backgrounds with international friends from Europe, America, Latin America, Africa, and other Asian countries at IGR IAE, Sevigne CROUS, and local residents in France were the best and most unforgettable experiences during my stay in France. I also developed a friendship with a classmate and until this day we hang out, care about each other, and update information on a regular basis.

There are two choices: CFA track and research track that allow students the flexibility to pursue their own objectives. Students are taught by both outstanding researchers and CFA Charterholder with diversity of value-added projects using Bloomberg or group presentation during the courses.
After leaving IGR-IAE, I have been working on a private equity fund administration in Luxembourg, right after I concluded my internship there. I have got to add, naturally working in Europe is different from working in Asia, but I am adapting and forging ahead

Asma Boulaid (Morocco) Master of Finance ASRF 2017-2018, CFA Track

After my studies at IGR-IAE Rennes, I was able to get a great internship at Egencia/Expedia Group as a Finance Business analyst. I now work at BNP Paribas CIB as a consultant in Project management.

This master will allow you to master main finance courses, understand how financial markets work and provide you with deep knowledge in corporate finance and international Accounting.

You can have access to Bloomberg platform, you also can pass the AMF certificate which is valuable in the Banking sector especially. Other than that, the program is really interesting, the professors are very approachable. You can ask them for advice and they are glad to help.

Francis Osei-Tutu (Ghana) Master of Finance ASRF 2017-2018, Research Track

What impressed me the most was the emphasis on quality education and research, the attention of the faculty and administrative staff, and the nice reception I received at the airport from the IGR Buddy program. The city of Rennes was also very welcoming: I enjoyed student life in Rennes where almost everything is built around University life.

Now, I am undertaking my PhD research in Finance at the University of Strasbourg. The in-depth theoretical understanding and the strong research and investigative skills I acquired during my Master degree have been essential for my PhD journey. Alongside my studies, I also work as a teaching fellow at the EM Strasbourg Business School where I teach courses in Financial Performance Analysis and Basics in Financial Analysis. Enrolling in the Master of Finance program in IGR-IAE Rennes has definitely been a life changing decision for me.    them for advice and they are glad to help.   ging ahead.
