MBAIM students visit Breton company Sojasun

As part of the “Corporate Social Responsibility” and “Industrial and Logistics Management” courses, Laura Sabbado Da Rosa, head of the Master of Business Administration in International Management, organized a visit to the Sojasun company in Chateaubourg. The purpose was to discover a Breton company that respects social and environmental regulations in its manufacturing processes. The students were accompanied by two MBAIM professors, François Huber and Laura Sabbado. The 1h30 visit was an opportunity for them to learn about the manufacturing process of SojaSun, from the delivery of the vegetable beans to the packaging of the final products. The company uses soybeans that are 100% made in France, without GMOs. Among its actions, the company supports the sporting practice of employees and athletes (partnership with François Gabart, winner of the Vendée Globe and the Route du Rhum on board the  Macif ship). At the end of the visit, the students greatly appreciated the tasting of the products on offer ( yogurts, soy-based vegetable drinks, coconut, rice…).
The students of the program, all international students, greatly appreciated this off-site experience and observed how the company uses new technologies to optimize its results.
