Basic practical information

Once you have decided to accept an offer in one of the programs (Master students), or after the nomination by your home university is made (exchange students), you will be faced with various very practical issues linked with your move to Rennes for a study year. Our three international student coordinators help students prepare their study project and their arrival in Rennes.

Living in Rennes and Brittany : Rennes, France’s tenth largest city, is just the right size for citizens and visitors alike to feel at home.

Every year the international office hires student mentors, who in turn coordinate a team of student buddies in charge of welcoming international students upon their arrival.  Welcome to IGR-IAE Rennes !

When you have been accepted by our School as a Master or exchange student, you should begin preparing for your stay in France. You will find several tips and advice here

Throughout the year, the student coordinators provide direct help or guide the students towards the best contact person within IGR-IAE , whether their question or difficulty is academic  (schedule, course choice, grade, exam organization) or administrative (visa validation, health insurance, housing, cultural activities…).

We are always available to students, guiding them throughout the visa procedure and validation .

Students accepted in the Master’s programs and exchange students, are given the possibility to be housed in the student dorms located on campus.
