Application procedure

When you have been selected by your home university and you have been nominated to IGR-IAE Rennes by the international officer in your home university, the application procedure will be as follows:

  1. Search for courses offered by our School.
  2. Check the specific requirements for each course that you want to study and make sure that you are eligible for all courses that you select.
  3. Fill out the online application form (information will be sent by the Exchange Student Coordinator). You will have to upload documents (ID photo, ID card or passport, study plan, transcripts etc...) 
  4. If you want to apply for housing via the university (limited number of rooms, “first come, first served), make sure to fill out the online booking form . The application link will be provided by the exchange student coordinator. 
  5. Make sure your application is sent in by your university well before the application deadline. Decisions on admission will be made one month or more after the application deadline. After that, letters of admission with all additional information will be sent out.

Visa application (non-European students)

All students will receive an acceptance letter, confirming their regular status as exchange students for the following year

Exchange students from the following countries have to go through a simplified "Etude en France" (Campus France) procedure:

Algeria, Argentina, Benin, Brazil, Burkina Faso, Burundi Cameroon, Chile, China, Colombia, Comoros, the Republic of the Congo, South Korea, Ivory Coast, Egypt, United States, Gabon, Guinea, Haïti, India, Indonesia, Iran, Japan, Kuwait, Lebanon, Madagascar, Mali, Morocco, Mauritius, Mauritania, Mexico, Peru, Senegal, Democratic Republic of Congo, Russia, Senegal, Singapore, Taiwan, Togo, Tunisia, Turkey and Vietnam.

Our incoming student officer will communicate all incoming students’ information so that they can continue their Etudes en France and visa procedures accordingly. 

Exchange students from European countries can study in France without any specific paperwork. 

Incoming students from countries not listed above will apply for the visa on the grounds of the acceptance letter issued by IGR-IAE Rennes.
