Exchange students

Exchange students are selected by their home universities. For information about exchange programmes, agreements, admissions and applications, please contact the international studies coordinator at your own university.
If you are selected for an exchange, make sure that you have sufficient knowledge of:
  • English, both written and oral, to take part in the courses that are taught in English;
  • French , both written and oral, to take part in the courses that are taught in French.

When applying for a study period at the University of Rennes 1's Graduate School of Management, you can also apply for accommodation, and a beginner's course in French that is offered by the University.

Management courses for exchange students

  • Courses are intended for exchange students who have completed at least two years of studies at their home university.
  • Please note that exchange students cannot combine courses and study opportunities to attain a final degree at Rennes 1 University.
  • When cooperation agreements are made by subject area, department or faculty, learning agreements can be made within different faculties as long as timetables are compatible.

Courses in our School are given in French or in English (you can download courses details on the icon on the left).

For more information, please contact our International Office.

French as a foreign language

Foreign students participating in an exchange program can benefit from French courses free of charge. These courses allow the student to improve his French level during one semester (4 hours per week during 11 weeks).

These courses are given at CIREFE (Centre international rennais d'études de français pour étrangers) - Université de Rennes 2 - and organised by language level.

The pre-registration link will be sent to selected incoming students by email.

Application deadline: August and December.
